Zareena – Fasateen Arabic Haute Couture

Instead of taking the route of showcasing each stitch and details of Zareena’s immaculate creations, we decided to conceal.   The result created mystery, drama, romance and nostalgia in a arabic haute couture shoot.

Here is the final outcome from the Fasateen photoshoot for Zareena done at the new Desert Fish Photography Studio.

Pink Contamination by Peter Richweisz – Moet Exhibition at Le Reve

This was a while back, but the “Pink Contamination” shoot commissioned by Romain Cans was a fun shoot in the middle of July in Dubai!  It was exhibited whilst Jade Jagger was visiting Dubai to showcase her collection of jewellery for Gerard jewellery at the luxurious Le Reve.

Sunny Dubai?  Actually, it was the day after a very rainy day in Dubai when this shoot took place!

Although from the images you would never guess.

And all 10 of the Parisian models who flew in for this shoot. They got to see the biggest landmarks for UAE tourism from Nassimi Beach at the Atlantis hotel, to Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Zareena of Fasateen Haute Couture

Here are some images shot for one of the most established names in Dubai Haute Couture and behind the Rulers family weddings.   Zareena is not only a great arabic fashion designer, wedding organiser, and make up artist, her anti-brief was a welcome surprise for a fashion designer which adds a mystery to the images..

You will all have to wait for the final images but here is the making of the first shoot in the new studio.

Desert Fish Magazine- No’ 6

The 6th edition of Desert Fish Magazine was launched again with a great party.

As i am currently upgrading my photostudio to a 6600sq ft space we decided to take the party to the elite venue in DIFC known as the Edge!

One Model I never tire of!

Since 2007, i finished my decade long (yes i look too young to have started shooting professionally since 1997)  relationship with Canon, albeit now keeping it as a part time affair.

My first shoot with my Hasselblad was for Swarovski launching their Crystallized label in burj Al Arab.  In November 2007  (See pictures below) I started my fruitfull relationship with Hasselblad 3o million pixel camera….

And today i went and bought the new state of the art Hasselblad 4D!
